PROMAX: a soluble micronutrient mixture used in
media preparation. This product will supply optimum levels of secondary and
micronutrients in an immediately available form for plant uptake. In contrast
to the other Frit horticultural products which have slow release characteristics,
this product is utilized in short duration horticultural crops such as bedding
plants and liner production and will supply micronutrients for approximately
8 weeks. The high sulfur content of this product will allow the crop to fully
utilize N supplied by continuous feed or slow release sources. Typical rates
of application range from 1 to 1 ½ pounds per cubic yard of growing
media. This product should be well incorporated when media is mixed.
Thorough mixing is essential.

F101HF: Trial suggested rate of 1 pound per cubic
yard of potting mix is suggested. Some very sensitive plants can be damaged
by overfertilization. Must be mixed thoroughly with fertilizer or whatever
media is used as a carrier. Improper mixing will likely result in plant
damage.

F111HF: This product is an excellent source of supply for both short
and long term micronutrient needs of container grown plants. Trial suggested
rate of 1 pound per cubic yard of potting mix is suggested. Some very sensitive
plants can be damaged by overfertilization. It must be mixed thoroughly
with fertilizer or whatever media is used as a carrier. Improper mixing will
likely result in plant damage. Excellent for use in both Bark/Sand and Peat
Moss/Vermiculite medium mixtures.

F176HF: This formula was developed specifically for the mid-south to
southwest regions and is used on both field and container grown plants. Its
high iron content gives plants a lush green color. The high iron, as well
as a balanced amount of zinc, copper, and manganese, supply nutrients continually
over an 8-10 month period, even though the soils in those areas tend to tie
up other forms of these nutrients. The consistent texture of this material
lends itself to easy and accurate mixing. If you use a mechanical mixer,
add one-half of the material when the mixer is half-full and the rest of
the material when the mixer is full. Blending for 10 minutes should result
in a homogeneous blend. Soil and tissue analysis should be used to determine
the amount of potting mix to add per cubic yard.

F503PS: Unlike mineral field soils, the micronutrients in most organic
components of container media are firmly bound and are released only upon
decomposition of the organic matter. The important consideration in the container
plant production system is the quantity and proportion of the essential nutrients
available to the plant. Frit micronutrient products generally improve plant
growth when compared to plants grown in the same medium without the addition
of micronutrients.

F555HF: This formula is the most widely used of all the Horticultural
formulas. It is recommended by universities, extension services and consultants
nationwide and used in countries all over the world. This product is the
source of the micronutrients in many of the commercially packaged potting
soils. Container nurseries use it extensively to promote longer shelf life
in their plants once they are shipped. F 555 HF lasts up to 8-10 months with
continuous watering. Originally developed for the highly leached, nutrient
poor soils of south Florida, it's balanced nutrient level is designed to
supply plants with nutrients in the relative quantities they are needed.
A suggested trial rate of three (3) ounces per cubic yard of potting
mix is suggested. Some very sensitive plants can be damaged by
overfertilization.

FRIT MICRO-CONTROL: This product has been developed
after many years of exhaustive field trials. This formula contains Calcium,
which is important in cell wall strength. Its high iron content gives plants
a dark green color. This product is very effective in bark/sand mixes. The
particular ratio of elements to each other is generally recognized as the
industry standard. A one (1) pound per cubic yard rate promotes more thorough
mixing in the various potting soil combinations. This product is recognized
as slow release due to the nature of the ingredients and is not dependent
on a coating.
